SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
Beyond the Veil Worship Center's Summer Camp is a ministry of birthed out of the vision of God, given to our Senior Pastor, Apostle Wanda J. Sisco. The vision is for a safe, Christ-centered atmosphere where youth spend the summer -- not idle -- taking a break from school, but not from "learning". Students will enjoy a rich and rewarding summer camp experience through tutoring in secular subjects, such as, math, writing, reading, language arts, science; etc., however, they are also encouraged to pursue creative and worshipping arts, like liturgical dance, step and more!
The Summer Camp is under the direction of Senior Pastor, Apostle Wanda Sisco. Apostle Sisco holds a doctorate in Theology and Counseling from the National Bible College and Seminary, and began ministry years ago as a youth leader. The Lord God has well-equipped her for this leadership role through a combination of anointing, education and experience.
She will be ably assisted by other staff members including qualified, CPR-certified camp teachers and aides. The camp teachers and aides are born-again Christians concerned with the safety and well-being of each child entrusted to our care. Their responsibility is to help with the day-to-day activities of youth at the camp.
The annual Summer Camp has been held successfully for more than five years. Our humble beginning was in a home. God has prospered the ministry and allowed us to move into a beautiful, newly renovated building in July 2004. The building is modern and spacious, equipped with a 500-seat sanctuary to be used for devotions and camp assemblies and graduation, classrooms, a full kitchen, fellowship halls and administrative offices.
