About BTV
Welcome to Beyond the Veil Worship Center, Inc., a faith-based, 501c3 organization with a rich history since its establishment in early 2000. Our core mission is dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ—His crucifixion and resurrection—to reach the lost and equip saints to lead holy lives. In tandem, we strive to foster healing, deliverance, and empowerment through the ever-present touch of the Lord God.

The guiding principle of our mission is encapsulated in Proverbs 29:18 (KJV): "Where there is no vision, the people perish." Our vision extends beyond the local to the global, positioning us as a family-oriented local church with far-reaching impact. To enhance the quality of life for individuals across our community, nation, and the world, we administer diverse programs and services, including:

-
Prayer (Intercessory and Corporate)
-
Praise and Worship
-
Family Enrichment
-
Leadership Training & Development
-
Outreach Ministries & Programs
Our commitment to extending beyond local boundaries is evident in our efforts to establish a network of ministers and ministries. Through training, development, and evangelistic outreach, we aim to empower individuals who, in turn, will plant ministries and centers.

Ongoing objectives include fostering spiritual, economic, and social growth for families and individuals. We adhere to the unadulterated doctrines of Jesus Christ, promoting spiritual growth and unity in worship. Our commitment to benevolence is manifested through national and international missions work, aligning with God's Word in giving and offerings to build the ministry.

Looking ahead, our long-term goals are ambitious and impactful. These include establishing outreach through various media outlets, additional ministry centers, and churches nationwide and abroad. We envision a state-of-the-art global ministry headquarters in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, complemented by quality facilities such as a senior citizens daycare, a home for battered women and children, and an accredited early learning center and academy.

Furthermore, our commitment extends to growing and developing pastoral alliances, fostering excellence in ministry among Christian leaders. At Beyond the Veil Worship Center, our journey is one of purpose, vision, and dedication to serving God's people. Join us as we strive to make a lasting impact, honoring the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our Story
Before the foundations of the world, Beyond the Veil Worship Center was ordained by the LORD GOD with a divine purpose—to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, crucified and resurrected. Established in 1999, this journey began with Minister Wanda J. Sisco, receiving a divine assignment on December 30, 1999.
The ministry's humble origins as a prayer group evolved into a thriving community. In 2000, from Wednesday night Prayer Meetings to Bible Study, and then Sunday morning worship, the growth was evident. The first worship service on April 16, 2000, marked the start of a remarkable journey.

Guided by the Lord's revelation in Genesis 11, the ministry transitioned from a residence to Andrew Jackson Middle School in Suitland, Maryland, on May 14, 2000. Minister Sisco's ordination as Senior Pastor on July 30, 2000, marked the official foundation of Beyond the Veil Worship Center.

Under Apostle Wanda J. Sisco's anointed leadership, the ministry flourished. By 2011, we acquired 18 acres in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, establishing ministries, launching the School of Ministry, and witnessing the School of the Prophets' inception in 2012. In subsequent years, new ministries such as the Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Culinary Ministry, and Safety Net Ministry were established.

God's blessings extended beyond borders, reaching Guyana, South America, Jamaica, West Indies, and Ghana, Africa. In gratitude, we give all GLORY, HONOR, and THANKS to our LORD JESUS CHRIST for His marvelous deeds.

What We Believe
We Believe the Bible
The original writings of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are considered the only divinely inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
We Believe in Christ's Life, Death, and Resurrection
Christ lived a sinless life, died a vicarious and atoning death, was physically resurrected from the dead, and ascended bodily into heaven. He is exalted at the right hand of the Father and will personally return to earth in power and glory to rule over the nations.
We Believe in the Christian Calling
Every believer is called to live a holy life and is commanded to live in the power of the indwelling Spirit. The believer is to produce the fruit of the Spirit in their life.
We Believe in the Triune God
There is one God eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are co-equal in nature, power, and glory, possessing the same attributes and perfections, and are worthy of the same reverence.
We Believe in the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the agent of regeneration and sanctification. At the moment an unregenerate person exercises faith in Christ as Savior, the Holy Spirit baptizes the believer into the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit indwells permanently, seals until the day of redemption, and sovereignly bestows at least one gift of service.
We Believe in the Obligation of Believers
It is the obligation of all believers to witness by life and by word to the truths of the Holy Scripture and to seek to proclaim the Gospel to all mankind.
We Believe in Jesus Christ
The Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary without ceasing to be God. His purpose was to manifest God in the flesh and redeem mankind from their sins.
We Believe in Salvation by Grace through Faith
Salvation is brought to sinful man by grace and received solely through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who accomplished complete redemption by His substitutionary death and shedding of His precious blood.
We Believe in the Bodily Resurrection
There will be a bodily resurrection of all men: the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment.
